Hey everyone, Sorry it's been so long. our neighbor moved after christmas and took the internet with him. It was a nice set up we just payed him to use his. However there is news here at the Marquardt's. Billy and I have taken a job at the mortuary which includes an apartment So as of Febuary 4th we will be moving to a bigger apartment that has hook-ups for a washer and dryer. (Not actually attached to the mortuary).

Our job duties include answering the phones for the moutuary after their buisness hours. (in our apartment) .

Janitorial work (paid by hour) and Billy gets the wonderful job of picking up dead bodys (also additional pay). No Joke. Luckly I'm not allowed to pick up the dead bodys so I will focus more on the Janitorial work and answering the phones.

Congratulations on your new job. That's great that you will get a larger apartment out of the deal and you can work from home.
I never thought I would write the following but here it goes... Cindy why are you not allowed to pick up dead bodies?

Wow that is some news! How did you hear about that job. I say anything with free housing is a blessing. I am so glad you have found something better then all those graveyard shifts.
I LOVE IT!!!
Wow..never saw that one coming. Congrats on the Dead body job...I'm just joking. Free housing is awesome. Let us know how it goes, but please, don't post any pictures of some of your "clients." :) take care!
We found out about the job/ apartment from a family in our ward that Billy home teaches. I'm not allowed to pick up the dead bodys because the Mortuary thinks it unwise for a man and another person's wife to be in the same car. (Some of the trips are down to st. George and up to Filmore). I'm glad about it.
so when you say "pick up dead bodies," does that mean from their homes or from whereever they died, or just help move bodies around the mortuary?
Cindy is very brave I had this opportunity come to me and I couldn't handle doing it. The thing is if Billy is picking up the people it's whenever it happens at all times of the day and night. He will end up picking them up from wherever they pass. It can be a good job but it takes a brave person to do this. My mom works at Lindquist Mortuary and it can be hard to handle at times. Good luck
Wow, got to love free housing. That is a huge financial help. Good luck with all the things that come with that free housing. Can't wait to hear some good stories.
Wow!! Scott would be so jealous!! Did you know that at one point on his mission, he wanted to be a mortician?? Yeah, craziness. It's so good to see an update!!
Glad to hear things are going well for you and I hope the new job works out well.
Ok. You two are weird, but you do what you have to do to make money go to school and survive!!
